Virbac Dermacool Hot Spot 50 ml is a cooling, drying, anti-itching and soothing agent for wet eczema including hot spot. This will reduce biting and scratching by the animal and prevent further trauma. Menthol has a cooling effect; hamamelis is drying due to its astringent effect and parachlorometaxylenol has disinfectant properties. Propylene glycol and glycerol have a soothing effect and are non-irritating. Spherulites are micro-spheres built up in layers that ensure a delayed release of active substances and therefore a longer-lasting effect. Chitosanide is a degradable biopolymer that adheres to the skin and hair with the spherulites and has a moisture-regulating effect.
For wet eczema including hot spot in dogs and cats
Spray Dermacool directly on the damaged skin areas and immediate surroundings. Repeat the treatment two to three times a day. Contains menthol, hamamelis extract and parachlorometaxylenol and chitosanide, in encapsulated (spherulites) and free form, in a mixture of propylene glycol and glycerol.
